NC State vs Georgia Tech Open Post

Will NC State start a bigger lineup against the inside oriented Jackets? Can the Wolfpack take down its third ranked oppoenent of the season?

Today’s game is huge for both State and Ga. Tech. Both needs win badly.

Post thoughts here and check Twitter during the game for a few updates/thoughts.

Pack Insider is reporting that Howell will start over Horner, that is a positive sign at least.

    Just saw that. Thanks NJPack

Wooo we get to hear the game too!

    What? No live blog/chat thingy?

Starting Wood at the 2 and Davis at the 3. No Farnold today b/c of a thigh bruise (or he’s unlikely to play).

Thank god this game is not televised in the Tampa area

Starting 3 freshmen…This already is a bad start

No Degand means we definitely lose today. Not that he is awesome, but he can actually drive to the hoop. I like J. Davis but the guy is just not a scoring threat, plus he can’t even shoot FT.

Josh Davis starting as a freshman in an ACC game is idiotic. He won’t last to the first TV timeout

well we got off to a hot start

I love Scott Wood’s Adam Harrington impression.

    Final score projection: GaT – 40-something, NCSU – 20-something.

We need to pull an NCCU and just score 50 in the second half while keeping GT to very few

can we see Painter to try to match their athleticism, and damned with VBerg dn’t get it soon. Hooah!

If they played this game outside with mittens on it would be higher scoring than what we’ve seen. These two teams both suck today.

I think I could field an intramural team that could score more than 4 pts in 8 minutes, even against an ACC opponent

At least CJ Williams hasn’t gotten in yet.

  17. NJpack 02/06/2010 at 4:14 PM #

I really hope Horner learns a lesson from that last possession – timid shot=miss, timid follow=miss, strong follow=basket.

  18. st8family 02/06/2010 at 4:16 PM #

Did Josh Davis have his eyes closed on that free throw?

  19. Dogbreath 02/06/2010 at 4:17 PM #

How about a lineup of Mays, Williams, Davis, Horner, and Vandenberg to get this thing rollin’

  20. old13 02/06/2010 at 4:20 PM #

How ’bout just subbing in the women’s team.

    *sigh*

We literally get worse every game. Of course, at some point there will be no room left to get any worse. I don’t think we could beat a wheelchair basketball team today.

This game doesn’t warrant a live blog. Seriously
