    The N&O seeks to cause a split and anarchy in the NC State fanbase. The vast majority of them are UNC grads that have given up on “fair and balanced” journalism. They have already created their new segment “Eyes on State” which has a tuffie in the “killroy” position, as if they’re already spying on our athletics department. Don’t be suprised if Calipari does well that they’ll start churning out hit pieces and “Personal Fouls” books. Just wait for it…and be ready.

    i hope so.. it will be nice for once to have some positive coverage on us. one thing that was mentioned on the radion this AM was that State did an exhaustive check into all the allegations on Cal and found none to be true with the Camby thing at UMASS or anything at Memphis. I’m sure State did a better job of investigating than the N&O would do.

    There are NO State fans at The Charlotte Disturber. At least there may be one or two at the N&O.

    “you better believe it. The faculty and staff of NC State need to stick by this hire, unlike the way they handled the pressure in the 80’s….”

    We wanted a Phi Beta Kappa chapter and had Duke/UNC folks on the review board and got slammed the first time around in the late 80s. We don’t have to kiss that kind of a$$ now.

    Instead Doyel is at CBS spewing out anti-ncsu garbage in a national outlet. I’d prefer to at least quarantine him to a smaller market, like say, southeast mongolia.
