Kiper Predicts Mario to Green Bay

NFL draft guru Mel Kiper, Jr. (as related by ESPN Radio’s Erik Kuselias) apparently is sold on Mario Williams. In his first mock draft including declared underclassmen, Mel predicts he’ll be snatched up by the Packers with the 5th overall pick. Williams would be the first defensive player selected. Kuselias also likes Williams – let’s hope his feeling there is more accurate than his prediction of football success for NC State in 2005.

The four picks prior would be Bush (Texans), Leinart (Saints), Young (Titans), and Ferguson (Jets).

And generally speaking, do check out Kuselias’ afternoon drivetime show – for my money, he’s easily ESPN Radio’s best host. He’s smart enough to stick primarily with football, which is well-suited to sports radio.

I agree with you, Kuselias is the best radio on ESPN radio. For the mid-90’s fans of Sportcenter, Keith Oberman now does a one hour guest appearance every day with Dan Patrick from 2-3pm. They are still a great combo.
