Dez got mugged on the Martin three rebound action. ND hasn’t tried to foul on the flushes that’s why they’re not in trouble. They will hit a hot streak on threes in the second half. We will need 86-88 points to win this game so we had better not let up.

Glad to get the under 4 timeout. We are getting a little loose with the ball. Gott needs to calm them down a tad.

Cat made a nice move to the hole even though the shot ended up in the fourth row.

Another in a long series of games where there isn’t much daylight between the two teams. This team has a lot of grit and has been able to stay in games and give itself a chance almost every time out. It will interesting to see who wins big man roulette and gets the minutes tonight. I’d love to see another solid offensive effort from Abu, but I won’t hold my breath. This season still has a very broad range of potential outcomes.

    Great hire Debbie.

You can at least hope that he will stay in Raleigh if he manages to produce a consistent winner and get us back to the top of the ACC. I just like the way he seems to go about his business. There are still going to be some growing pains, but I think DD has got this.

If you are still awake, the NFL Network Super Bowl Marathon is worth setting the DVR for. Rick Volk, Jake Scott, Max McGee, Lynn Swann, Chuck Foreman, the list goes on. Combine that with a little John Facenda narration and it’s off the chain.

As for the game last night, it’s another example of how dependent we are on Lacey and Turner. Even with the offensive showing from Abu and KW in double figures, we didn’t have enough offense. We never made them collapse and double anybody and they were determined to keep BSW from getting going.

I thought we got a lot of good looks that rimmed out and could have easily won the game with a tad more shooter’s good fortune. The loose TO’s drive me nuts. Those cost us dearly and so did the lack of three pointers.

That was the best officiated game I have watched in a long time. Rebounders were rewarded for position and they didn’t allow people to do the “Tyler Two Step” all night. I’ll take that crew for every game the rest of the season.

The dude that touched/pushed Cat shouldn’t be allowed back in the arena for at least the rest of the season

I’m back into the stupid proxy server crap that won’t let me get to the forums. This happened once before and the prescribed fixes didn’t work. It just healed itself somehow. The problem is only on the laptop. Doesn’t matter what network it is connected to. iPad can access the forums just fine from the same networks.

    Any suggestions?

This is who we are. We are gonna play a lot more gut wrenchers like this one, Not enough guard scoring tonight but KW and Abu kept us in it

If Turner had just been bad tonight instead of abysmal we might be ahead.

Nice to see Cat pull the trigger on those. It makes him really tough to guard

The three point defense is offensive so far
