Yep. That’s why we needed the 3. Dude can kick. He just hasn’t proven it yet, but he can’t do it from the bench.

Obviously didn’t gain any confidence during the week in our kicking game. Got to be able to kick it and get some points. We can’t give up on our man.

That is a classic, Roo. I vote for using the cap key as needed.

I do not understand how some of these people in Greensboro keep their jobs. To whom are they accountable? The game officials, suspend them for two games? Are they being reprogrammed? How are they going to come back in two weeks and be any better? If they are being reprogrammed, maybe send along the back judges from our game for a refresher course.

I am thinking that Halloween seriously must have been a factor with so many leaving. Got to get home for trick or treating. But man, everybody gave up way too early. Even on this thread. We still had a legitimate outside chance to win the game with under 2 minutes to go. We had two excellent chances to get TD’s right at the end that would have put us 1 score away. Have you not seen what can happen?

Will Richardson is heartbreaking. Why o why do so many have to learn the hard way. And I’m not just talking about football.

I just wasn’t sure before today how good we were or what to expect. But I am encouraged. We were in the game against #3 and were more than competitive on offense and defense. They are better than us, but not by a mile. Play like that we could win out.

Did I say announcers are knuckle heads? It’s worse. They are totally incompetent.

Don’t believe everything those knuckle head announcers say. I’ll take the extra point and the onside kicks.

I have been trying to figure why Jocoby has not looked as good as last year, but the more I look, I think we just do not have the speed or talent at receiver. We miss Bo Hines bad! Nobody is separating from the defense.

Great news on Hakim. I never heard what his injury was.
Nickols has showed nice promise. I had not realized Gallaspy had passed him on the depth chart until after the VT game. I hope they both see some action, but I am sure they both still have a lot to learn.

I am going to pass on the challenge, but I hope you make enough money to fill the back of that white van to the brim

I am all for Coach Doeren and I am not giving up on the season. I am hoping we can finish like we did last year. But I am having a hard time understanding what in the world happened. I did not think anyone would be able to stop us on offense. We had multiple top running backs with a combination of speed and power. We had a speedy freshman receiver play maker. We had Jaylan who could line up in multiple positions and a threat to run or catch on every play. We had NFL caliber tight ends. We had a senior quarterback who seemed ready for greatness. And I believed our offensive line, while not deep, was the best we have ever had.

It doesn’t seem like we have been able to use any of it to our advantage. Maybe we fell in love with being able to run the ball so effectively against the powder puffs. But those same plays are not working against teams that are overpowering our big men. All of those weapons have virtually disappeared. It doesn’t make sense to me.

I am still mourning the loss of Shad. We are a different team with him on it, and it will adversely affect our season. I am not talking about mojo or distraction, I am talking about talent.

I support Coach DD but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with every decision. I am all for discipline but c’mon, a moped accident? For a college student? Suspend him again if you must, but to kick him off the team seems harsh and unfeeling. He has been robbed of his senior season and chance to show his talents to the NFL, and we have lost our chance to see him play and potentially lead us to a special season.

I believe this decision is akin to letting Russell Wilson go. It doesn’t make sense. Yes, I am aware he had already been given several chances and I am sure there are details I do not know. But he had paid the price for his past transgressions and to end his career because of a moped accident seems ridiculous. The punishment does not fit the crime.

I am very comfortable with not being ranked yet. We need to stay hungry and we need to earn it. Too many times we have gotten ranked and then lost a big game the very next week. If we can win the next three games, we will be ranked and we will be playing the biggest game of the year on October 31st.
