I am seeing a new trend in college bball the last couple of weeks…

Twerps finally found the emotion they needed to bring the extra energy and concentration required to beat a very good team. Something to do with the reality of their LAST regular season ACC basketball game, perhaps…
One clear indicator of the condition of the Twerps basketball program is that today was the only sellout at a home game this season… if I understood the TV guys correctly.
From here… there appears to be very little reason as to why the Twerps hadn’t been playing at this same level since the regular season started… their only victory against Tobacco Road was against the Deacs at home.
Bennett will “use the loss” to take some pressure off his kids… and they should be formidable next weekend in Greensboro.

The Noles are hanging tough against the Big Orange. Second half of that could be as interesting as the Twerps/Hoos game…

Then… it will quite “interesting” to see how much of that same “emotion, energy and concentration” our kids bring to the gym today….

If Paige had got 12 or so of his 24 in the first half and more at the beginning of the second half..instead of at garbage time… this would have been a totally different game…

so it washes out… and you have a two man race…BUT… you know good as I do…

and that is a BIG difference…So they might throw a handful of votes Cuz’s way if they are certain Paige cannot win just to keep the Dookie from winning…
The thing is after all, some thing that nobody loses… who’s Pop wouldn’t be just as proud of his kid if he finished second.
If that’s 10-15% of their votes… that could easily be the difference in Cuz winning and coming in second…
