Lots of basketball in this final weekend of the regular season, some of more interest than others.
Miami beat WF to secure the 10 seed.
GT beat VT in the battle of the Techs.
Iowa State buried a 3 as time expired to send their game against Okalahoma State to OT with Smart on the bench with 5 fouls. Really great game.
Missouri and Tennessee going at it right now, everyone should be pulling for UT since they are the Pack’s lone Top 50 win.
Pitt and Clemson going at it right now too.I’m watching AZ vs Oregon at the moment. That court makes my brain hurt.
This is my first opportunity to see Arizona this year. I’m interested to see what Sean Miller is doing with them.
A road win vs the Tiggs likely gets Pitt back to that top 50 line (at least close) as well.
Of course the Tiggs aren’t cooperating so far though.
I’m not holding my breath that Pitt will win. Besides even if they do they’ll play a high RPI team on Thursday and that’ll lower their RPI and then likely lose on Friday which would lower their RPI again and be outside the Top 50.
I don’t think Pitt is going to do us any favors. They can’t seem to break through and take the lead.
I’m gonna refrain from mentioning the halftime score of the Women’s ACC semi vs ND. Tune to ESPNU if you want it.
Minus Gatling it’s even uglier than it would have been otherwise. ND gals are the real deal. Maybe if we face them in the final four the third time will be the charm.

So the 2 games the Pack needed help with today came through. Pitt/UT both with wins and thus should give the Pack 2 Top 50 wins and maybe improve their RPI.
At least the game tonight doesn’t mean diddly squat and we can all cheer for a giant sinkhole.
AZ loses to O, proving that NC State sh*t knows no bounds and effects coaches State was just wishing for. 🙂
The Pack women have had better days, but it was to be expected playing ND with 3 seniors out. Myisha Goodwin-Coleman and Lakeesa Daniel unfortunately are done for the year, hopefully Gatling will be back for the NCAA tourney.
