^agree on the Elliot running. Not positive, but one of the announcers mentioned Owings was replaced by Dalton for the third straight game in late innings, and that Dalton hadn’t got an AB yet. I’m guessing a nagging injury if that is the truth, can’t be his defense.
Completely overlooked info on Owings’ pattern of late substitution. Definitely not a defensive move. That kid is a 5 tooler.
