100%. And Notre Dame deserved more consideration than Syracuse as well.

Useless mental exercise: If the names of the Universities were swapped with the same resumes what would each school be ranked?

UNC with NC State’s resume would be ranked #4 or #5.
NC State with UNC’s resume would be ranked #4 or #5.

Swofford probably called the boys up and requested to be penciled in for that #2 spot in Charlotte and they were like, how about we’ll get ya a #2 in the West? “Hot damn, that’s a deal!” Swoffy and TV Teddy (riding around in his car with him) proclaimed!
