FWIW, ESPN rates the Belk Bowl #18 out of the 40 bowls in terms of entertainment value.

It’s a HUGE opportunity, and up to us to do something with it.

That’s appropriate b/c Second Chance AND there are cowbells! Best to prepare now, yo…

Hear Canada is in the running for the ECU job. I wouldn’t mind that happening at all. Our offense if pretty predictable, and DD ain’t firing his staff, regardless.

ECU is a powder keg right now. There is a big petition to bring Ruffin back by players and fans…and fire the AD. Cant see Canada setting sail in those rough seas. If they do hire Canada at ECU, look for a quick mutiny if don’t win early and often. Would make an interesting game come Sept 10th with Canada on the opposite sidelines in Greenville…..Arrrrr !

🙂 Me too, but the Fisherman has always shown to be a really good guy.

Frankly, I am still waiting for someone to grip the Starkville pic.

Nah. That’s shrooms growing on that pie. But not that kind of shroom. I spent some formative years in Gainesville FL during the 60’s and 70’s. I was a fun guy if you know what I mean.

Nowadays I carry a flask of whiskey at all times on account of snakebites. I also carry a small snake with me. Just in case.

Hey. Joe Willie’s personal fetcher at Bama took a job groundskeeping Dudy Noble field.

He was our official concierge for 2 straight NCAA baseball tourneys.
    ( 4 or 5 us, that is.)
For better or worse, MSU is a part of my younger days.

Damn. I still have a Bulldog sweatshirt that hasn’t fit in …10yrs? 🙂

My freshman year (’74-’75) a friend and I drove out to El Paso and watched Rocky Felker at QB and MSU beat the Cheats in a foggy Sun Bowl. Original plan was to make our bowl in Houston, but we couldn’t do both-Felker was a hell of a baseball player IIRC…

Speaking of fan support, I saw Iowa has requested 55,000 tickets for the Rose Bowl. They may have 85,000 at the game.

    Ga Southern.

^ Absolutely,Paki. They were good, too. Did home and home every year.

They had a wicked lefty by the name of Ron Norman that played in either the Expos’ system or Pirates, damned if I can remember.
