SaccoV I agree. We need talent (coaches and players) but we should never forget the need for that atmosphere. I remember my freshman year Holtz would not start a running back who was ripping up practices. That until early season losses forced him to reconsider his stance. Ted Brown who was lightly regarded coming out of HS and who eventually became Mr Everything for us and had a stellar pro career. Those things do happen but yes are rare.
