    I sit directly behind the team bench. He’s been a maniac since day one, jumping up and down, waving his towel, greeting the teams as they come off the field… Almost to the point of being comical. He’s non-stop energy. We’ve even commented a time or two that the coaches need to reel him in a bit so he doesn’t risk getting injured.

    Yep. #PACK14 baby!

    I like the song kickstart my heart but it gets really old when they play it all the time over the loudspeaker and just the opening 10 seconds or so from the opening riff. It drowns out the band it is so loud.

    Also playing that rap song “we ready” or whatever the hell it is for a long time before every kickoff is really annoying too. I don’t know who is in charge of that kind of stuff but I doubt that most people there get more pumped up when they hear the same 2 short song snippets blasted over and over.

    ^ Pack Mentality, while I wasn’t even there yesterday, I’ve lived it, so I can certainly understand what you’re saying. Fact is, the ability to come up with something special in order to create their own “buzz”, that uh, has never, ever, been an NC State strongsuit. Everything is just so “canned”, so dry, so safe, that it’s either to the point of being completely hokey, or just so flat-out unspectacular that it simply blends into the background and goes basically unnoticed.

    Why not go out a limb every once in awhile, make it funny even maybe? Just so you put away that can opener, and do something that is better and out of your very ordinary and predictable rut, in order to simply get your message, and your University, noticed!!!

    How about giving me complete access for one day, let me have a couple of the department’s most talented techno-wizards, they can work out all the details once I’m gone, and I’m certain that I could put together something that would have the entire joint whipped in a frenzy!!! Something that would further motivate our own players and coaches, while at the same time would be intentionally intended to INTIMIDATE, while possibly planting that little seed of doubt into the back of the minds of every one of our visiting opposition, as well as in the minds of their entire traveling fan base.

    That’s just one day, unpaid, to set up video and audio presentations for both FB in C-F, and BB the PNC as well.

    What, no takers on that offer??? Eh well, guess it’s back to the menial tasks of my regular job tomorrow then, as usual. I did try though.
