    First game of the season with a new coaching staff – not to mention a home opener with nice weather. Got more than one sunburn sitting across from the pressbox and staring into the hot sun in late August. Today I’m watching from my couch, taking some time off from the ever needed mowing this summer. I will have to control myself as I will have to mow after the game is over.

    Both optimistic and a realist. New coach, limits in the 2 deep and new offense and defense strategies. Balance that with some decent talent and what I hope is much better motivation.

    I hate to be that guy, but…

    ESPN is bumming me out. Here we are, trying to get hyped and primed for opening weekend, and just minutes before gametime, they decide to run a human interest piece on a kid with leukemia. Bummer.

    Thanks for the tear-jerker, you jerks.
