    Love to see a video of Mr Wolf doing the Guess What Day It Is? I know he doesn’t talk, but then neither do camels. Could use some of the staff like in the Dirk video. Maybe even show it on the jumbo tron. Could even be animated. That would get the fans going. Just Saying! Anyway, we all know what day it is. And unlike the smurfs, we are going to start on a winning note. Go Pack!

    Time to get it on!!! Going to be a good day and the start of something special with the new staff, new mentality, new culture.

    It’s amazing how many people bash the talent level and constantly downplay the players on the team. The one aspect that many overlook is motivation. You can take an average player and make them a very good player if you can motivate them. I think that will be the difference with this staff… The players are motivated…. How motivated was the Pack the last 5 years. Yes they were motivated for FSU and Clemson, but how many games can we recall that motivation was missing.

    Mark it down this team has a different chutzpah. You can’t underestimate it, it’s a stat that is not on paper.

    I agree, gameday mentality goes a long way toward the outcome of a game. And we have a coach who can motivate, unlike dear ole Tom. Go DD!

    Talent is important. You can compete with Top 30ish talent, but not Top 60ish. It is what it is.

    We need so much more depth. DD is working on it, thankfully.

    It’s StateFans NATION Game Day!! Anybody in the Nation got 1 of the couches ears? Tell ’em to keep an eye on Kenny Dixon – 1,200 yards & 27 TDs for LaTech last year. Heck, the entire Wolfpack team only rushed for 12(!).

    Yup, without the talent, there is a ceiling you can’t get beyond.
    Luckily, our schedule this year should help us avoid the cold, harsh, reality of limited talent. Passion could make a big difference this year.

    Only real concern is 9 freshmen on the 2-deep. But word is Doeren is quite a motivator… It’s a nice collection of coaches for the Pack on both sides of the ball.
