    Well, I do not see a whole heck of a lot to laugh about myself. The TOB kool-aid was certainly steam rolling everything in it’s path around here at one time, I’m just wondering where most of those folks are right now?

    Practice, practice, practice until you’re blue in the face, do it over and over again, but you can never account for, underestimate, or totally ignore, the all-important factors commonly known as “intangibles”. I guess you could also add a heaping helping of the “IT” factor in there as well. You do that, you disregard those factors and just continue on with your rigid regimen, and next thing you know, you’re toast.

    The banner misses the point. It’s not a quarterback we’re missing (Glennon is good), it’s everything else. Is there a way you can squeeze another coaching staff, OL and DL on the banner and not Russell?

    Not a full belly laugh but the banner did make me smile. Very good. So last night was truly ugly. I woke up in a real bad funk too like everybody else. Hey we thought this was a “building on last year year”. Turns out it is simply a “rebuilding” year. That really bites.

    Funny, but I hope the team has a sense of humor. This is disrespectful to them. Contrary to what some might say, I think they are out there giving their all. And this is kind of a slap in the face to them.

    It would be funny if this was a pay site and it was a private joke. I can only imagine what the players might think if they see this. Talk about a demotivator.

    You’re right, TBK.

    The players are just stunned, discouraged, panicky, etc….

    If they don’t look on fire, then it is because they are full of self-doubt now.

    Replace some staff members, and if that doesn’t work, clean house entirely. But none of that happens in a few weeks or even months.

    For now, get those injured players back in there. Most of them are difference-makers. Meanwhile underclassmen are getting a lot of playing time.

    8 games left to play. Don’t jump off a cliff, or push anyone else off, either.
