It would be great to see some of those players wearing Red and White in the future. Congrats Vikings! NCSU88 (THS84)

I can’t believe we have two other THS alums here!!

Not a THS alum, but I remember that “unbeatable” Brown team very well, complete with the mercenary Johnson and thugs like Lott (who was a thug before being a thug was cool–and later topped his dirty K days with a little UNCesque after game punch party up at Maryland as a Clemson Tiger).

I enjoyed every minute of the complete and total domination THS put on the Wonders. Those guys never knew what hit ’em…

^I was at that game. It was cold as heck. Tarboro won 20-0 and gave up something like 30 yards of total offense to Kannapolis Brown. D Frank of Tarboro was on that team. He played a little DB for the SD Chargers in the early 90s.

Well, since you said “any high school championship”, I’m still pretty proud of my High School State Championship. The 1980 Greensboro Page Pirates, undefeated, and North Carolina 4-A State Champions!

Butler rolled WFR. It was really Man vs Boys out there. Other than the weather it was a blast to watch at Carter-Finley

W-S Carver grad here. So, not very happy to see Tarboro win yesterday. Thought the Jackets looked decent, but needed 1 more yard to make things really interesting.

Also will point out that a fellow Carver classmate of mine was Tim Wells. Tim not playing on senior night is still one of the most bewildering things I’ve ever seen associated with NCSU athletics (and that’s a mighty long list).
