Pack Gives Back

Good work by Andrew Jones and Fox Sports for covering this.  Nice story and another reason to be proud of the way that our program is managed.

About 10 players, including quarterback Russell Wilson, participated in the U.S. Marine Corp’s Toys for Tots program. The players spent about 40 minutes piling as many toys into their carts as they could, fueled by a gentleman’s competition to out-do two-time defending champion Josh Czaikowski.

“The little stuff always seems to add up the most,” said Czaikowski, the team’s placekicker. “I usually try to keep it organized so I can fit more. I try to tell everybody my strategy, so we’ll see if they listened.”

Also pleased to see that some readers on our message forums already opened a thread on the topic.

Speaking of giving back — StateFansNation has partnered with Rentacarnow and we will benefit when you book your rental cars by clicking through SFN to the site. Always an excellent way to help out the community. Good job team.

Now it would be complete if Jones could spell our kicker’s name correctly.

I think the place kicker(to hard to spell correctly) has an effective starategy. Always nice to see the pack get positive press.

C’mon, give the guy a break. “i” or “j” ? What’s the difference? He is only a sportswriter, after all.

Besides, maybe he has vision problems. He probably looked at the roster and mistakenly saw the “j” as an “i”, never realizing the mistake.

Maybe he has a little bit of “ACC Official” in him?
