Saturday Football Open Entry!

We’ve had a TON of great stuff on the blog the last couple of days…so, we really want to encourage you to look around and enjoy all of the hard work. Additionally, the last two weeks have been the most activity our message boards have ever experienced, so we want to encourage you to take them in and participate in threaded conversations about specific topics of interest – click here.

We’re going to open this entry for everyone watching all different games to throw out comments, commentary and links. Please feel free to start threads or comment more intimately on individual games, observations, etc on the message boards today.

Also, please don’t overlook our Twitter account where we come across great stuff from all across the ‘tweet-o-spher’. We’re currently up to 1,235 followers (and we try to weed out folks who really are just looking to expand their own Twitter reach).

    My thoughts on what/who I watched/listened to.

UNC-Still has a descent D and Yates is having a good season…so far.

GT-The running attack is still pretty good. Their Defense looks slow, very slow chasing Yates outta the pocket.

    Md-sux..period

VT-Got back on track a little but it was ECU.

ECU-I was actually hoping they would win and get a little pumped up b4 we got to them, but as I suspected their conference sux and the 2 previous games were not a good indicator. They have a fair offense, but no defense against solid teams.

Clemson-looked solid…hate they didn’t pull that out. They will be tough.

Overall still not scared of anybody on oue schedule aftr yesterday. Still think Clemson and GT will be the biggest obstacles on the road, and VT and FSU at home. We should IMHO win the rest.

Wake really got waxed last night in Palo Alto. Wake’s defense really seems to be struggling this year. I wish we played them ealier before Grobe works out his defensive woes. 68 – 24 – Ouch!

Stanford’s QB Andrew Luck is the real deal. 17-23, 2074 yards and 4 TDs. He added 69 yards rushing. Easy win for the Cardinal. I would think most would have predicted a Stanford win but this thing was put to rest in the 2nd quarter. Another bad loss for the ACC.
