Butch’s List (9/2 – Greg Little Will Not Travel)

Yesterday (9/1), news broke that Butch Davis had suspended Defensive Tackle Marvin Austin indefinitely. This morning (9/2), an AP source has confirmed that the second hit has surfaced in the two-pronged scandal as Greg Little will not travel to Atlanta.

A person with knowledge of the decision says North Carolina receiver Greg Little won’t travel to Atlanta for the 18th-ranked [sic] Tar Heels’ opener against No. 21 LSU.

Somewhere, Jarvis Byrd is smiling.

We’re in for a roller coaster morning. If Joe Schad is correct, as many as 16, including the #1 and #2 running backs, will not be playing either.

Guys, guys, guys (and gals!) …

I need more hard hitting stories from my local media such as exposes on the shady practices of the College Inn or handicap parking.

This Chapel Hole stuff just isn’t happening! NOTHING TO SEE HERE!

    And … obligatory

You can run but you can’t hide butch. Can’t WAIT to hear how this gets explained on national tv.

I hear there is space available on the holes plane to Atlanta.

I hear they have shelved the team bus and are taking the team station wagon… they can fit who is available to play in that.

    ^Station wagon?-let’s be charitable-one 15-passenger van should do it…

this great old beach music song just keeps running through my mind each day a new report comes out!
someone with more talent than me should put it together with a picture montage of all involved.

This is REALLY fascinating….and NOT unexpected. Last night, I was watching the “EARL” coverage and idly surfing. The N&O had a “NEWS” item on their website. This was NOT a blog as I made a comment. It was there around 12:30 AM this morning. WRAL had the same story…just a rehash of AP’s comments. This morning the N&O article is GONE. Missing…..FLUSHED….not to be found….but I may be groggy. The WRAL article is still there. I wish that I had put a link in my post to the ORIGINAL Greg Little (Roy Williams) article. This one was NOT open then….

Therefore, in the TRUE legacy of the Iraq Information Minister, the Offical Newspaper of the Regime has sanitized all entries. There is NO NEED TO PANIC….the reports of the NCAA being in Chapel Hill is a propaganda trick of the Imperialist Woofies. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOMES….Everything will be OK.

Just WHEN you thought the N&O was getting on board….

    QUESTION for the SFN posters?????

Did you read the comment that Alabama only suspended their Defensive Tackle for two games. He must pay back the money spent on his trips. If THAT is all that is going to come of this, then Agent Gate will be a non-event. That means that Stevie Spurrier could let WesLIE back on the team…but there seems to be a bit of a personality issue there.

This thing has all the makings of a whitewash…and the N&O was told last night to CAN the story….and got the offical word…

They will actually be driving three Escalades and one Range Rover with TJ driving down a U-haul with all the gear.

No 2 deep running backs, no Little, only a DE and SS from original depth chart from what I followed on Zarzour just now, anyone confirm this? (maybe one more defensive starter is there)
