Woody has that typical Tar Heel trait that they just assume you want them in your space. They assume whatever they have to say is worthy of you listening to whether you think so or not. Or maybe Woody has learned over time that the only way for him to maintain an audience is to literally hold onto the person. Or based on this conversation, maybe Woody just “likes” him.
