RW featured @ ESPN’s College Football

It is always nice to see the Wolfpack getting some national love and attention; so, we took the following screen shot from the front page of ESPN’s College Football page this morning. This ties nicely to this entry on Wilson and NC State Football that we featured last week.

It is also pretty interesting that rutgers is featured in this article as well!

It’s nice to see someone on the Pack team getting national recognition – it seems like it’s been such a long time since that’s been the case. RW is definitely a season-changing player. If he’s healthy, we are a top-25 team. If not, who knows… Thanks, TOB!

V-Tech ranked #5!!! Crazy! Maybe if they had a Russell Wilson! And sorry, UNC and FSU ranked in the top 25…I’m sure everyone is shaking in their boots before they play these two teams. But #5 for V-Tech is ridiculous.

The ACC has lots of parity but we have zero BCS Championships contenders. I repeat, zero. Not even close. Until Miami and Fl. St. have regime changes and ifffffff Butch, Johnson, and TOB have 3-5 more years to build a brand for their respective schools and recruit top 10 teams perennial then maybeeeeee. Also, V-Tech needs to recruit better talent, especially at the QB position. Then sprinkle a little fairy dust on top for good luck and the ACC mighttttttt have a BCS championship contender. Not this year or the next or the one after that.

Nice article though. RW and NC State are legit again.

I think having GT in the top 25 is probably a good pick but UNC??? No way that they will have a top 25 squad this year.

The unx ranking is truly laughable. The same unx who struggled down the stretch and had to come from behind in the 4th to beat Duke is going to break out this year? Without Nicks or a proven QB? Riigghhttt.
Don’t underestimate GT. When the switch finally flips PJ teams typically become very dangerous very quickly.

I know its a Heather Dinch blog entry, but she has the Pack as the #2 squad in the entire ACC coming out of the Spring practice behind VT. I don’t recall exactly, but she has UNX somewhere around 5th or 6th. You can never tell anything in the ACC, especially this early, but her listing makes a lot of sense. Hope it holds true to form or better for us! It could be a special season (or hopefully many) in Raleigh. Go PACK!

I am so looking forward to Russell Wilson torching South Carolina in the first game.

I would love to see a 49 – 7 type game against USC… establish that dominance.

Anybody else notice the link to the right of the article? Greg Paulus….QB at Syracuse? Did he not think he had a shot @ the Dook QB job? Nearly laughable, that.

Coach Cut TOLD him he didn’t have a shot at the dook QB job. That’s why he looked elsewhere.

That whole Paulus thing is an absurd publicity stunt. Most programs are in a position to have no reason/interest in diverting attention and resources away from their core focus of winning.

Syracuse is so bad that such a flier is probably worth it. Anything to drum up any kind of attention and interest on their program.
