U2 Playing at Raleigh “Stadium” on Saturday Oct. 3rd (Maybe Not)

This morning U2 released the dates to their 2009 world tour. It looks like U2 will be playing in Raleigh at a “Stadium” on Oct. 3rd. A quick check of the NC State Football Schedule shows that the Wolfpack will playing in Winston Salem.

    Duke makes more sense because they can get alcohol revenue whereas the Nazi’s that run CFS won’t allow beer to be sold even when it is a non-college event. Durham would do well to build a downtown stadium for Duke, NCCU and Soccer and other concerts. It is a shame that the Triangle doesn’t have a real stadium or should I say a stadium isn’t operating under North Carolina blue laws.

    You can beat your wife just don’t drink a beer in a college stadium regardless of if there is a college athlete within 10 miles of the stadium.
