Xavier Hicks, Washington State: The much-troubled safety put rubbing alcohol in teammate and roommate Grady Maxwell’s contact-lens case and pleaded guilty to intent to commit assault. He also pleaded guilty to two gross misdemeanors for credit-card theft. Was sentenced to 45 days in jail during the summer. Then he was ticketed for driving with a suspended license as he was driving home from jail.

Hadn’t heard of that one. That’s pretty sick.

I wonder if they’ll save space next year for the BMFD Waiver Wire?

“Western Blvd. is like looking up Yasmine Bleath’s skirt compared to College Park which is more like looking up Hillary Clinton’s.”

This was at the end of another thread and I thought it was too good to miss… Delete if you want SFN. I couldn’t help myself…

“leave him alone” a pretty good summation of the situation – lol

Haven’t spent anytime recently in College Park, but there definitely wasn’t much there in the late 60’s when I was about 10 miles north on US 1 in the Army. I know the entire area has exploded since then, but not sure about College Park. Back then, there was a bunch of farmland in the area, but now it’s covered in housing developments.

Clemson recruit Kenneth Page: Young Kenneth posted this image on his MySpace page shortly after the Tigers “secured” his services.

For those of you who have followed the link and seen the pic associated with this caption, I have a question. Are recruits today so frightenly stupid that they would actually post this sort of pic on their public MySpace page? I’m sure most of the Clemson folks would say that the pic is not real and that he did it just as a joke, but those bills are banded together…those are either $1000 or $2000 bricks…and there’s 10 of them. Thats a pretty impressive “joke”.

Its kinda funny though…apparently Tommy B. could have saved himself some cash and still gotten the same results.

    Yes.

    Yes, he really did.

Now you understand why they fired the coach mid season at Clemson. They figure with the money they are putting out for recruits that no way they should be losing games.

Best thing about College Park is this little restaurant in a strip mall there called “Food Factory”.

Not to defend him, cuz I don’t wanna, but I’m 99.7 percent sure that Ronnie Wilson’s AK-47 wasn’t an assault rifle. Assault rifles are fully automatic weapons. Pull the trigger and hold it down and you empty the magazine. The media (I know cuz I’m one of them) use “assault rifle” for semiautomatic weapons that look real mean. Like AK-47s and AR-15s and Uzis. They come in auto and semiauto versions. A fully automatic assault rifle would set you back thousands of bucks. A semiauto could be bought for a few hundred.
