I like how he says that you can lease your yard for parking for 24K – is that after taxes?

Anyone notice the state tax rates are much higher than the national average?

TOB mentioned cost of living and housing costs as factors in his decision to leave BC. His staff had to live very far from campus cause of the high price of homes near campus. Here his assistants can get more money and their cost of living expense is much less.

Minnesota? $400K for 2200 sq ft of perma frost lawns, snow shoveling driveways/walkways, pipes bursting, ice scraping car won’t start in the morning, land of a thousand frozen down to about six feet below the surface lakes, and bitter cold misery?

    Sounds like a deal.

“Simms reopens recruitment after Petrino’s departure ”
Aain a sort-of off-topic comment but not sure where top post. Here’s an interesting article on SI about the young Simms appearance at the recent NCState-Duke BBall game.

    enjoy:

Whenever the most expensive cities in America comes out, you always see Ann Arbor, MI on it. Apparently, everyone there works at the university and everyone is pretty handsomely paid judging by the cost of living there.

The crazy thing about Palo Alto is….it’s a complete dump. E. Palo Alto is where you live when you work in the Bay Area and don’t know anything about computers. It’s a complete ***t hole. It makes Oakland look upscale.
