Kornheiser’s MNF Debut

Watched some of last night’s Vikings-Raiders game solely for Tony Kornheiser’s debut. I enjoyed it. Tony is a fan. He thinks like a fan. He speaks like a fan. He is going to do just fine in his new role on MNF.

I like Kornheiser, too. Hate that I missed his debut. I would really love that broadcast team if only Joe Theismann wasn’t part of it. I would bet that the combined IQ of Terry Bradshaw and Theismann wouldn’t add up to 200 – maybe not even close.

Phillip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers are scheduled for a MNF game on Sept. 11th. It will be the Charges for regular season game. A whale of a mental test for Phil. But he should look good – they’re playing the Raiders.

BJD95-You have to rember that 50% of the MNF population has thrown a few back. Since Terry seems half lit all the time, the trio should work well.

You’ve got a 25% chance of being right, regardless of who the two people are.

ould be nice to see if tony can get his boy wilbon on the show. Maybe at the beginning of each game kornheiser could do an over under on game stats. like “Phillip Rivers will throw for four touchdowns on MNF, over or under….” and then he could start yelling at the top of his lungs. oh god i love pti

I like Al Micheals a lot. I have complete respect for him. Unfortunatly he is paired with an old coach(a great one… dont get me wrong), who speaks before he thinks….

as for the new MNF line up… I agree I like all of them ‘cept Theisman. Nothing against him… I would just rather have Micheals….
