Cowher TV Feature

Bill Cowher is being featured on “Aaron’s Football Saturdays in the South” that is running in syndication on local channels throughout the south this weekend. (Link)

The show is produced by “Lincoln Financial Sports” which is the old Jefferson-Pilot Sports. (Lincoln Financial Group bought Greensboro-based Jefferson-Pilot months ago).

Super Bowl Champ Bill Cowher, NC State
Cowher’s first coaching job came in 1985, at age 28 under Marty Schottenheimer for the Cleveland Browns, and at age 38, Bill Cowher was the youngest coach to lead a team to the Super Bowl. The beginning of his recognition occurred during his college years as a starting linebacker, team captain, and MVP for the NC State Wolfpack.

I saw the feature yesterday and was very pleased. It runs about 10 minutes and includes comments from NC State’s Chuck Amato and David Horning.

We will see if we can find a way to upload it to YouTube.com for everyone.

Here is a list of the affliates for the show from http://www.lfsports.com page. It looks like the show will be airing at noon on Sundays in Greenville, NC so maybe someone can record it.

VT, he’ll take the AD job when he’s finished with the Steelers. The sooner the better.

I would rather see him as coach. Anyway NC State can’t pay him enough money for him to be an AD. Didn’t his family just buy a house in Raleigh? Maybe he is expecting another sub-par year from Amato.
