    I am not an adidas fan, but thank God we are not wearing the swoosh. I remember the red/white/balck pants we wore in the bowl game a few years back, these unis make those look good. I did hear a rumor the entire team was wearing red shoes this year.

    Frankly, I think this is all pretty stupid, but hey, 20-year-olds are stupid (if anyone reading this is 20 years old, I apologize, but trust me, your smarter years are ahead of you).

    Let me second this conclusion from the blog. Your parents will seem a lot smarter once you have kids. Your prespective on “fun” and “stupid” also changes.

    An interesting angle to this is that Phil Knight, CEO of Nike is an Oregon grad. Does he give tons of money to Oregon? With all the influence Nike yields in basketball, I’ve often wondered why this didn’t somehow translate into more success for Oregon.

    As bad as these uniforms are, they do give Oregon an identity that similar Pacific Northwest teams don’t have.

    I believe Phil Knight is one of the NATION’s leading donors, obviously it does go to Oregon.

    extra credit to the equipment maqnagers for getting each player “coordinated”. You know that if the bottom line looks good then other schools will follow suit(s).
