According to the Raleigh News & Observer, Mike Greco is transferring from NC State. Greco, a 6-foot-3, 220-pound redshirt freshman from Lighthouse Point, Florida, redshirted the 2005 season as a true freshman.

Larry Brown is/has been a great NBA coach, a much better than average college coach (if you ignore the trail of NCAA problems following him) but I don’t think even God himself could get any good from that assemblage in NY. I guess the best thing here is that the Isiah will have to deal with the mess he has made. I never thought Brown was right for the State job but that does not lessen his ability in my eyes.

Watch him end up in Charlotte.

Brown goes from a good record with the Pistons to a horrible record with the Knicks. Could it be the talent level of the two teams and not Brown’s coaching?

    Could be.
I am still happy that he didn’t land anywhere near the coaching job here.

Brown knew the Knicks was going to be a rebuilding job. He left a title contender and took his “dream job” to get paid. He failed miserably. It’s very telling Nolan fired Brown after the first season, basically giving him the bank for doing absolutely nothing. It’d be idiotic for another NBA team to hire this guy. I just do not understand the fascination with him. NBA players time and time again have spoken out against him.

Call me crazy, but I’d take Lowe over Brown as the head man any day.

geez.. why is everyone offended that Brown left the Pistons, whether it be wanderlust or the huge piles of cash he can ultimately support many generations of Browns to come? fellows, please, like the music industry, professional sports is all about the money, no secret it is a billion-dollar industry and everyone that can will squeeze that cash cow.

^You’re right, I seem to have forgotten that loyalty has nothing to do with our place in this world. Regretfully, as you say, it really is all about the money. Any chance he’ll replace Mr. Saunders back in Detroit?
