* Various sources at the Final Four in Indianapolis have verified that Arizona State Athletic Director Lisa Love has met with North Carolina State’s Herb Sendek. This article discusses the situation.

* On CBS’ Final Four show this afternoon, CBS analyst Seth Davis confirmed the talks and went a step further stating that Arizona State has offered their job to Herb Sendek for somewhere in the “seven figures”.

* StateFansNation has confirmed that Arizona State has offered their job to Sendek, but have heard varying accounts of the offer package. We have narrowed the range of the offer package to somewhere between $1.2 million and $1.4 million but do not know the extent/impact of performance incentives in that number.

* In the battle of the local media outlets, the News & Observer is yet to run an official article detailing the situation. They have shared something on their blog linking Sendek to ASU. By contrast, the Charlotte Observer took the opportunity to use Seth Davis’ comments on television to run an article.

If Herb goes to Arizona State will any of his current players follow, or any future recruits??

Sounds like a done deal. Herb has been looking for some time. Like Roy, I am a bit concerned about current and future recruits, particularly those who have not yet signed.
