Coach Cal might not be back next season to coach the Tigers. The Eyewitness Sports team just uncovered John Calipari and his staff visited Raleigh, North Carolina Monday, to look over North Carolina State’s facilities.

    All I know is that at 8pm EDT, I’m going to watch two hours of FOX TV and forget all about college BB. (At least until commercials start)

    …….this is getting somewhat interesting…..the flight plan for N27XP lists a flight time of 1:45 when in reality it is going to be about 30 minutes faster than that…..why the pilot would do that escapes me…

    “Tired in Florida” was right. N27XP is an air transport. Owned by Brian McMurray of Aberdeen, NC (near S. Pines). Think Lee hired him to fetch Cal & Co.?

    keep hearing things from all places and sources that calipari is in or is on the way to raleigh. Only one source (the memphis report) saying otherwise. Who knows?

    McMurray’s company is an air transport co. ie, they own a plane and take people places.
    I did some further checking…this tail no. flew from Moore Co. (Pinehurst) to Memphis this afternnon, arriving a little after 3pmCDT, then back to Chapel Hill.
    I think this is our boy.

    there are 3 reports now, 2 from Memphis that conflict , and one from ESPN that says he did come to Raleigh.

    I think if we asked him, he would tell us to ignore everything until there is a press conference, otherwise you will be on a rollercoaster of heresay.

    this is giving me a headache. I don’t know how much more I can take. I hope he is just not using us to get a rase in memphis. But could you really blame him. When it is all said and done I hope he is our coach, but I am begining to have my doubts. I guess it is from years of being let down

    Yep. They’re trying to stay under the radar (Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha) after yesterday’s not so secret trip in one of Wendell’s “Murphy Family” planes. Who would associate McM Transport with NCSU? I think Lee hired them to go get Cal.

    About the subterfuge of a chapel hill landing…..

    If they were so worried about the same scenario as yesterday, why not have Cal and his crew drive to Little Rock to take off.

    But….,if the rumors are true it is great news! He wouldn’t bring the assistants to look at our (excellent) facilities unless they were all coming seal the deal and for Cal to make sure we understand he wants his assts taken care of, and to show them what a great situation they are getting ready to land in.

    And, regarding Andy Katz. Did any of ya’ll think that comment about Cal contradicting himself were a little sour grapes. What did ya think he would say before we approached him with a deal?
