Brees’ Time in San Diego Ending?

The NFL off-season is heating up in San Diego as the Chargers have been working hard on their quarterback position with some moves that significantly impact Philip Rivers.

Earlier in the week, the Chargers re-worked their deal with 3rd string QB, AJ Feeley who was acquired in a mid-season trade with Miami. More recently, Drew Brees rejected San Diego’s offer and may be allowed to test the free agency market.

In other potential Rivers-related news, the New York Jets and Chad Pennington look to be close to splitting ways. Many Wolfpackers would love to see Rivers step into the job in New York where he would play in the country’s largest media market and be reunited with former Wolfpackers, Jerricho Cotchery and Andre Maddox.
