YOU Guest Blog for BC

Back during football season, BC Eagle in Atlanta and Statefansnation participated in a “Guest Blogging” exchange in preparation for the Wolfpack’s match-up with the Eagles. You can see some of the exchange by clicking here.

BC Eagle has emailed asking for guest blog exchange for Tuesday Night’s basketball game. Unfortunately, our time is kind of crazy right now…so, I am asking YOU to participate in guest blogging with BC Eagle by using the comments section of this entry.

I’m asking that BC Eagle in Atlanta use the comments section of this entry to share his questions of Wolfpackers and then you can share your thoughts on the answers. Then, Eagle can choose which comments that he likes and can run them on his blog as a “Guest Blog”

Additionally, feel free to share any questions that you may have of Eagle in Atlanta.

Thanks

“When you play and where you playâ€? – This was a favorite saying of V’s. We caught a scheduling break with BC playing a Sunday night game in Atlanta prior to this game. I think this affected their energy level. I don’t have an excuse for the crowd. The important thing is that we took advantage and didn’t flinch when they hit three straight 3’s midway through the second half.

Jeff, Mr. O – agree on Gavin Grant. The first half was disturbing. It’s all about ball handling & defensive focus with GG. He has a particular skill set that we really need – he’s very strong, gets the ball to the basket and goes to the foul line a lot (and makes them). His three in the second half was the biggest shot of the game. It came during the BC run and was at the end of a terrible possession.

I hate to be paranoid but does anybody think Ted Valentine, Duke Edsel or Karl Hess would have allowed such a butt whopping in BC’s inaugural ACC home game?

Jeez…you guys really jumped on that rant written in the middle of frustration. I request that you stricken it from the record. I apologize and readily admit that Herb has done a phenomenal job of developing that talent (that sticks around). I guess all I have to do is point to all of the pro players that we have developed and then look at how poorly all of the transfers have done at their second homes to come to my agreement with you. Sorry for the mis-speak.

Glad Gavin played a little better in the second half. If we are going to truly redshirt some of the freshmen…his play is going to be KEY for us as we strive to hit our big goals of finishing 2nd in the ACC and make the Sweet 16.
