Bowl Blogging in Charlotte

Members of the South Florida Bulls spent the morning exploring the shops and the buildings in Uptown Charlotte today. Their buses pulled out of the Omni @ the corner of Trade and Tryon around 1pm to take the team to practice at Providence Day School. The Wolfpack have reportedly been practicing at Country Day School at the corner of Carmel and Fairview Roads in South Charlotte.

Shortly after the Bulls left for practice, NC State’s buses arrived from practice (at approximately 1:20pm) and dropped the Wolfpack at the Marriott Hotel, also at the corner of Trade & Tryon across the street from the Omni. A little after 2pm, the skies opened up and poured a nasty rain which probably impacted the Bulls practice. Weather for the game on Saturday is predicted to be very nice.

Tomorrow, both teams will visit Lowe’s Motor Speedway and attend the “Richard Petty Driving Experience.”

Chip Alexander logged a quick entry from Charlotte this morning. Additionally, the Charlotte Observer also focused some of their comments on Andre Brown. Also worth noting is the news that Patrick Lowery will start at Middle Linebacker for the Wolfpack in the bowl game.
