ESPN’s College Football Television Schedule

ESPN & ESPN2 have released part of their 2005 College Football television schedule. The schedule does not include all Saturday and Saturday night games that often are not scheduled until closer to kickoff.

ESPN’s schedule and other television schedules will be permanently linked on the left hand side of this blog under “College Resources” for your quick access.

The network’s website teases the schedule release with a picture of Steve Spurrier and highlighting the schedule kicks-off with his return on Thursday, Sept. 1 against Central Florida on ESPN.

Sunday, Sept. 4 Virginia Tech at NC State 7:15 p.m. ESPN2

Thursday, Oct. 6 NC State at Georgia Tech 7:30 p.m. ESPN

Saturday, Oct. 8 Ohio State at Penn State 7 or 7:45 p.m. ESPN2 or ESPN

Thursday, Oct. 13 Clemson at NC State 7:30 p.m. ESPN

Thursday, Oct. 20 Virginia Tech at Maryland 7:30 p.m. ESPN

Friday, Oct. 21 Southern Miss at UAB 8 p.m. ESPN

Thursday, Oct. 27 Boston College at Virginia Tech 7:30 p.m. ESPN

    Looks like the ACC owns the Thursday nite time slot, with the exception of the SC/UCF game.

    Good to have 3 confirmed ESPN/ESPN2 appearances BEFORE the season starts. Win, and we will have even more.
