Ben & Brandon Quotes

There were LOTS of great quotes that came from yesterday’s win, but a few stood out for special mention.

Two players that I think are going to mean a lot to the future of the ‘program’ are Ben McCauley and Brandon Costner.

I’m not limiting the scope of my comments that they will only ‘meaning a lot to the program’ with their impact while playing. IMHO, Costner and McCauley represent that kind of players that ultimately are successfully around basketball for years and years to come. These guys are future coaches like Monte Towe or Sidney Lowe or Justin Gainey. Or, they are future commentators like Dr. Jerry Punch, Terry Gannon, Bucky Waters and Vinny Del Negro.

“It’s perfectly fine to acknowledge that this is more than one win,” said sophomore Ben McCauley. “I think we’re going to look back on this and realize that this was the beginning of what this group and what Coach Lowe is all about.”
