    My cousin David played American Legion with the Combs twins and Jimmy Hunter. David died of ALS almost 14 years ago. It’s an absolutely evil disease, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

    The Bowling Alley just down the way has been torn down too. The City of Raleigh briefly made noise about building a small park covering all of that property. What with the purchase of Dix Hill, that may never happen.
