Now… the ‘best’ Clempsom basketball story I know…
Some of Ya’ll will remember TREE Rollins….
The TREE played some tough ball, back in the day, against the DT / TB / Monte teams… such didn’t have the supporting cast he needed… Anyway…. Tree finishes his career at Clempsom and gets drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with a big signing bonus…The TREE gets to Hotlana where one after a few weeks, one of the young AJC sports reporters asks the TREE…
“How do you like Atlanta?”
The TREE replies without cracking a smile…
“It’s all good, except for the pay cut…”

#NCSU-North Carolina's #1 FOOTBALL school!The name almost rings a bell. I do have a few very funny stories form that time. My eye doc was the Clemson time keeper and he often traveled with the team. Told me many about Harvey Grant impersonating Horace (his twin). Got so bad they ran Harvey to Oklahoma.
Just when I was starting to like the Braxton/Batts combo…It will be good to get Markell back though and I am glad for him to get past his issue. Let’s see if we can get another win without him tonight
