I see myself watching a good bit of Baylor/Boomer Sooner
Brissett simply cannot hit a long ball to save his life. It is SO LIMITING to the offense to basically not be able to complete a pass that is more than 25 yards in the air.
It’s at least an improvement over Daniel Evans (can’t complete a pass over 10 yards in the air) and Harrison Beck (can’t complete a pass under 40 yards).
But in all seriousness…yeah, it’s quite the shit sandwich.
Still, I like the fade to Grinnage. Cowdog will attest I was bitching and moaning about not calling that play last week.
On the flip side, Brissett’s ability to run with the ball really creates balance for us and helps us on some key erd downs.
No, it’s a bad call. Both knees were down. It’s an NFL rule (specifically, the “Calvin Johnson Rule”) about taking it all the way to the ground.
But hey, Jacoby’s TD was cooler anyway.
