If we had coming out playing like this then we would be winning. They slammed us too hard in the first quarter.
It has been incremental progress. We beat who we were supposed to beat. That’s it. We are still, clearly, fourth in our division. And the path to the top has gotten much tougher as Dabo has it rolling on all cylinders. We will feel Spurrier’s departure for years to come.
A poor effort from top to bottom today. Another in a long string of them in Carter Finley over the last three years. What is it about the home crowd atmosphere that makes our staff and players tighten up?
They have a stable of big athletic wide receivers and linebackers that we simply lack in our program and it was painfully obvious today.
Maybe don’t spot the bad guys 5 scores before you start playing football next time? Or maybe one just stops getting the bad guys’ best shot after one spots them 5 scores.
Either way, today was a freaking embarrassment, regardless of final score.
Still no signature win in the doeren years. We are finally beating who we are suppose to but not getting the big wins. TOB could pull off the big wins but not be consistent against the the little guys. Which poison do you pick?
I see no sign that Jalen will have any by anyone to throw to. I hope next year we will have some run plays out of pass formations and pass plays out of run formation too, because right now we are painfully obvious on offense.
And if you are going to roll the dice, don’t wait until it’s too late. Bad day for the coahing staff as a whole.
