    Coach Dinosaur…

    Walked on at ‘Cuse in 1962…
    Senior Year was Captain of the team…
    graduated in ’66 or ’67and did some things for a couple of years..
    returned to ‘Cuse as an assistant coach in 1969..
    promoted to Head Coach in 1976…
    42 yrs later he’s still the Head Coach…

    NOW… I don’t like the SOB — nothing personal, I’m sure he’s got some great inside stories, especially about John Thompsom, Sr. — it’s just a basketball thing you know…

    BUT if you want to talk about guys who went to college and never left…
    Boeheim has set standards, others will only dream about…

    Got to respect that, if nothing else..
