How much worse will Wake Forest have to get before THAT position becomes available?03/10/2018 at 10:42 PM #132685
May the lucky sperm club suck forever.

I hope Wake keeps Manning a long time. While I don’t believe Odom’s comment that NC State and Wake can’t both be good at the same time, I do believe Keatts’ job is easier as long as Manning is at Wake.03/14/2018 at 7:18 PM #132883
Pitt talking to Crean. Matta not interested in Georgia.03/14/2018 at 8:42 PM #132886
Crean? Yikes for Pitt. If he cannot win at IU despite all their built in advantages and the very fertile local recruiting grounds, what makes them think he will do anything at Pitt? He’s also a first class jerk (by reputation) which doesn’t seem to fit the profile they go for. That’d be a head scratcher, but admittedly Stallings was as well. They’d be wise to go for a young up and comer.03/15/2018 at 8:50 PM #133080
Crean to Jawja.03/16/2018 at 1:35 PM #133091
Maybe we should rename this Topic’s Title….
College Basketball Coaches AND PLAYERS Carousel
Up at PITT, a mass exodus of players following the termination of Kevin Stallings last week…
The total is now up to EIGHT off a roster of 13…
Hope that sh#t ain’t contagious…
Do ya’ll remember any of those kids who we might ‘like’ in West Rawlee?

Hilarious piece about the dumbest AD in the country (Pitt):03/16/2018 at 9:17 PM #133105
I know we’re all glad nobody from NC State was mentioned in that article, regardless of their qualifactions…
Time heals all wounds.

Just when we starting thinking things couldn’t get any ‘stupidier’ up in Pittsburgh…
Love Potion Number Nine…

NoLove Potion Number Nine…
Talk about a self-imposed death penalty that will take decades to overcome and wouldn’t ya’ll love to know the gossipy details…
But ya’ll know… “Records are made to be broken.”
Good luck to Pitt in hiring a decent coach…
At this point, they’d have a hard time hiring Gott, who’ll work for anybody…
Larry Brown is still around, but he’s 87 yrs old….

Steve Lappas to Pitt? He looks like he’s a good listener.03/17/2018 at 8:33 PM #133162
Hurley to Pitt or UCONN?03/17/2018 at 8:43 PM #133163
Steve Lappas to Pitt? He looks like he’s a good listener.
The lights are on but NOBODY’S home…
With an empty bench… Who’s there to listen to ???
Hurley to Pitt or UCONN?
If those are options, Coach Rat will make sure his protege goes to UCONN…

Danny Hurley, Rhode Island. Not Bobby.03/20/2018 at 7:14 PM #133267
Pitt and UConn are courting Hurley.
Charlotte hired UVa associate head coach Ron Sanchez.03/21/2018 at 9:09 AM #133275
Parrish benefits from hindsight in that article. While I agreed at the time that both moves he made were baffling, it is easy to write that piece a couple of years later.
I do wonder why the ADs that do the dumb things keep getting hired. Yeah, Pitt did some dumb things, but Oregon State (who has a long track record of doing dumb things), knowingly hired him.03/21/2018 at 12:49 PM #133278
Tubby out. Penny Hardaway in. At Memphis.03/21/2018 at 7:51 PM #133290

UConn hires Dan Hurley.03/22/2018 at 5:11 PM #133303
Lville officials meeting with Mack this weekend. His wife is from Lville. And he was a 1 seed this year amd went nowhere. Probably time to go.
