You may well be right…..word on the street….and the Internet Street is ALWAYS RIGHT….
The AD was involved…..and that was the source of the funds.
The FC’s at UoL have started a “you want us to continue to contribute” drive that specifies that the AD and the Pres be officially “Hurled with all fanfare, pomp and circumstance UNDER THE NCAA Bus….they is the Sacrificial Lambs (or Cardinals)”
That action is supposedly to save Ricky P….and defuse the NCAA’s ugly penalties.
If that happens, wonder what UNC would do?
