You may well be right…..word on the street….and the Internet Street is ALWAYS RIGHT….
The AD was involved…..and that was the source of the funds.
The FC’s at UoL have started a “you want us to continue to contribute” drive that specifies that the AD and the Pres be officially “Hurled with all fanfare, pomp and circumstance UNDER THE NCAA Bus….they is the Sacrificial Lambs (or Cardinals)”

Obviously, sex sells. The bball homepage on ESPN.com was wall to wall Louisville scandal yesterday. Today that’s down to about half the stories scandal related. Forgive me if I forget in my old age, but I don’t recall the same coverage given to the (evidently boring) academic and athletic improprieties conducted in Chapel Hill for the past 20 years. I’m so naive.
