I don’t have a problem with the fake injuries. If it isn’t against the rules it’s fine and the rules will adapt.
Just look at the basketball rules regarding fouling at the end of a game. I’m sure fans of other teams hated the tactic but it worked. Eventually rules were altered to change the balance of power back to offense.
