I finally put my finger on what this team reminds me of – the first RW/Papa John’s Bowl team. They won 6 or 7, then lost a close post-season game.
That’s not to say Brissett is another RW – just the team overall reminds me very much of that one. Not that different from the horrid team of the previous season, except at QB. And with leadership from the QB, the rest of the roster pretty much maxed out its somewhat limited ability.
Only possible WTF losses would be Presby or Wake at this point. I think even last year’s wolven crew would beat this sorry Wake squad at home.
