Darian Roseboro chooses to run with…

…Michigan.

Just like NC State true freshman, Kentavious Street last season, Darian Roseboro is arguably the top high school defensive player in the state of North Carolina this year. But, this year Coach Doeren couldn’t make something special happen as NC State has now come in second for about a half dozen of the top prospects the Pack had targeted.

The conventional wisdom had it down to NC State vs Michigan even though Roseboro has said he will be selecting from his final 6 of Bama, UNC, Clemson, State, Michigan, and Tennessee. A hat from each of those schools sat in front of Roseboro at the table of his announcement. Ultimately, Roseboro chose to go to Michigan.

Feels a little like Amile Jefferson.

While I wish there could be some reason for Wolfpack fans to still be a little optimistic in the feeling that Michigan Head Coach, Brady Hoke, is probably just one bad/mediocre season away from being shown the door…

…it sounds as though Roseboro may head on up to Michigan in January.

Heck…that may be all that we need!! Just say that sentence out loud a few times, “He is heading to Michigan in January”. Good God…WHY!?!

Which is about a half dozen more than TOB came in second. Recruiting is like winning: first you lose close (come in second), then you win close, then you win big. I’m not saying ‘wait until next year,’ I’m saying next year we will win the recruiting wars close. Then we will win the recruiting wars big.

^Sooooo, you’re saying wait until the year after next. That’s much better. lol. Either way, that logic may only hold true assuming DD starts winning and winning big enough to attact top talent. No matter who’s coaching State, that’s a mighty big task.
