    Best wishes to TJ.

What strikes me about that list is the lack of Seniors. Out of 30, 5 are seniors (and 2 are international so I’m unsure of their “class”).

Less than 25% of the top 30 are seniors!

When you factor in all the transfers, I find it hard to plug in to the ACC like I did years ago.

Kids aren’t sticking around for their senior year. Why would you? If you are good enough to be drafted, then get drafted, get paid, and you can always go back and finish up your degree either in your summers or after you are done playing. The college game is simply a means for these studs to showcase their skills in preparation for the NBA.
And for some, if they see too much tape of you, it can work against you. For example, I don’t know how TJ could have possibly had a better year (and it is a true shame we didn’t do better with that type of automatic production every night). Go on take the money and run.

I thought the celtics had more than 1 first rounder? Would hate to see him in MInn. Surprised they’d take KJ Mcdaniel over Shabazz Napier. Also, where are the Harrisons?

TJ could have been 1st team all american and NPOY, overall #1 pick avg 30 pts per game. Win NCAA title with back to back 50 point games in final 4. Thats how.

Harrisons are coming back to UK.

    You are dreaming.

I’m just a fan. He could easily be 1st AA, NPOY would be up for grabs. As for happy ending, why not us? He sure is better than anyone UCONN had this year.

Don’t see a downward trajectory for him. Next logical step would be up the 3 point %, not impossible. If he could nail that at 40% clip, he could easily avg 30.

If I was him, I would leave with guarantee from Celtics or Lakers.

Hopefully for TJ, he won’t be picked up by the Celtics or Lakers, who were among the NBA’s worst teams this past season.

As far as him being drafted 13th, it’ll more than likely be 20-something. He will get no bonus points for being a Wolfpacker. That’s not a slam, that’s reality. Had he played at Duke or maybe UNC, we all know he’d be a likely lottery pick next month.

Would be surprised to see Atlanta take a chance with The Gargoyle, considering Marvin was basically a washout for them (and recently picked as one of the Top 20 Worst Draft Picks of all time). Over-hyped Carolina underclassmen and all….

I don’t get the sense there is any sort of bias when it comes to the NBA Draft. They draft guys I’ve never heard of in Croatia and Brazil. They drafted high school kids (Bryant, Garnett, LeBron, etc.) They see enough of these guys to form an opinion.

Now NCAA All American voting is a different matter. The Dukes, UNCs, KUs, UKs, UConns matter. See Jabari Parker – Duke. Warren was ACC POY but Parker garnered All American honors. As did Shabazz Napier from UConn. The image of the program matters there. But not when it comes to the draft. Watch these NBA playoffs, which have been spectacular by the way. You will see players from all over the place. Never heard of some of them but now they are studs.

The Celtics and Lakers have fans and are in prime locations. I would rather be a Clipper or almost anything than be in Minn.

I know its the hometown guy in me, but I think the Hornets (Yes I said the Hornets) could really use TJ on their squad. Big Al is one of the top 5 big men in the NBA, Kemba is a true scorer, Henderson has game on both sides, Zeller really improved last half of the year & MKG is a lock down defender. Jesus McRoberts is the odd man out. Not knowing his height/weight off hand, I would wager TJ is close to the same size with twice the offensive game as him. Hell, you could even put him behind Henderson for a year to learn.

But we all know MJ will take a UNC guy, my prediction is he picks PJ…

Would love to see him with the Hornets, a team on the rise. McRoberts is 6-10 240 and had a solid year. He was key down the stretch. Of course he can’t play D, but he was decent from three.

My guess is TJ goes somewhere between 13 and 18.
