    Turnovers still…

    I’m underwhelmed.

    That continues a trend.

I must say that the numbers give me scant hope for our alums’ prospects.

Can’t say that I’m really all that surprised, other than at Scott only shooting 22% from deep. That blows, especially for a sharp shooter with his NBA career at stake.

I believe that CJ scored 15 and had 5 boards in one game, but also had 5 turnovers. He did get props for his hustle, but sure sounds like he was trying too hard. I still think he’ll make the roster.

I’m confused about Howell’s lack of PT. He’s evidently signed with a pro French team…

It was nice to watch everyone play at least once in nbatv. There were a lot of other former-ACCers also that made it interesting. Horner impressed me, he passed well and knocked down some nice threes. I hope he gets a shot or likes where he ends up playing otherwise.

Looks like we’ll be well represented overseas. Hope they’ve got their passports up to date…

My gut says that Brown and Leslie will get a legitimate chance to prove their mettle in the NBA. That’s all that any player can really hope for. What they make of the opportunity is up to them, but I’m pulling for both of them.

For the rest, there are a lot worse things to be doing than playing professional ball over seas. A lot of those leagues are pretty good and generate the players that challenge the NBA players in the Olympics. There’s a lot of money to be made doing it as well. I wish nothing but the best for the guys.

The thing about this group is that I genuinely think they are all good people. I’m proud that they came out of our program, regardless of their ultimate ceiling playing professional basketball.

We need a “Like” button…if we had one, I’d be clicking it for ryebread’s comment.
