College World Series Saturday

Even though the Pack9 doesn’t get going ’til tomorrow, the 2013 C0llege World Series kicks off today with two good match ups in the opposite bracket.

In Game One, Mississippi State faces off against Oregon State.  At the time of this posting, that game is knotted at 3 apiece thru four innings.  That one’s on ESPN2.

Later (8pm EDT, ESPN) in Game Two, Indiana and Louisville get rolling.

We’ll have periodic updates on today’s/tonight’s games and as always….talk about it here.

    I’m in a quandary. I have an OSU ballcap, and a Mississippi State sweatshirt from way back.

    Gotta roll with MSU. Even if the sweatshirt no longer fits.

    My son got me Wolfpack grilling tools for Father’s Day. I take that as a good sign! Using them for the burgers today.

    I always kinda did like the Bulldogs (aside from their effing cowbells in Atlanta in ’95 that is).

    But I’m wary of an all SEC final series so I’ll just be Switzerland on this one I guess.

    And any ballcap that says “BEAVERS” must rate some consideration. Just saying. 😀

    It’s a little known fact that Mississippi State University actually is located only partially in Starkville, MS proper, and partly in Mississippi State, MS, which is the proper mailing address.
