Marshall is a seriously good PG. If he plays like this, the Heels are going to be tough to beat.

I’d disagree with the matchup claim. This is a tougher matchup, but I’d say it’s more favorable then FSU. I disagree with how we’ve defended UNC both games. I think you play Wood on Marshall straight up. You play Brown on their 2, CJW on Barnes. Just like we’re doing right now. This shoudl’ve been the defense all night. Attrition with stupid fouls by our bigs, and our inability to score the ball consistently is what killed us tonight. You can’t expect to be competitive versus UNC when you’ve only scored 20 points 15 minutes into a half.

What I like, and is a reflection of our coach, this team has shown some toughness. They didn’t wilt in that first half when everything was falling for UNC. Second half, they didn’t play well, but they didn’t wilt.

I don’t like counting on freshman, but Wood needs to be the 8th man next year. A 5-7 minute contributor.

UNC showed they can beat us shooting the ball. Only 10 offensive boards – not bad at all. But there were a bunch of open shooters out there. And we’re just not consistent enough on offense. Not about effort – just execution.

one reason henson and zeller dont get in foul trouble, on the brown dunk, henson just let him go, our bigs would try to block it and get a foul, that saves a foul or two a game
